Peter Lee Head of Care and Registered Manager

Peter joined the Mortimer Society on the 1^st May 2025 as Head of Care and the Registered Manager.

Peter started working in Social Care in 1997 as a support worker, supporting adults with learning disabilities. Since then, he has held a variety of roles as a senior manager, director of an advocacy charity and as a CQC and OFSTED registered manager working in Children’s, Older Peoples and Learning Disabilities services.

Peter has a range of sector relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma Children Young People and Families Manager, ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management, ILM Action Learning Facilitation for Managers, Level 4 Registered Managers Award as well as further education training in Psychotherapy and a BSc Psychology and Philosophy.

Peter has three children, paints, but not as often as he would like, enjoys films, cricket and Liverpool FC and has a keen interest in ancient history and mythology.
